Alot has happened recently in october. Firstly my mum was involved in an innocent car crash that was totally not her fault as me and my sister Emily witnessed everything from sitting in the very same car. It was all a mans fault who jumped the red lights as he was on his phone and didnt notice. Shows why you shouldn't drive and be on your phone. Gladhe admitted it was his fault in the end. The car my mam was driving in was my grandad's. This is terrible as the car was very special to our family as it belonged to my grandad who is no longer with us anymore due to his death in 2004 caused by cancer. Due to the car being with us in our family for 15 years, it is very old its getting put down now. It was a very good car actually with no car problems apart from the look from the outside does look like an old car. After serveral weeks gone by without the car, i still terribly miss it.
Secondly during half term i went on weeks vacation to London. It was amazing after not been there for like 7 or 8 years. We got there and a tuesday and stayed in a Travelodge at Hatfield. The travelodge was pre booked but somehow the hotel managed to oveboo the rooms so wenever got a room and had to travel 12 miles down the road to another travelodge in Harpendon. This is where we stayed for the 1 night on tuesday. It was a dreadful hotel, all dirty and old....ergh. Couldn't sleep for the night. Anyways we checked back into out hotel where we orginally books and it was 10 times much better. Not star quality but at least it was cleaner. We stayed there for a further 3 nights and had breakfast everyday there too. On the wednesday of the trip, we stayed in Hatfield due to everyone being tired. Wondered abit in and around hatfield and went inside 'the galleria' shopping centre. After that we just stayed in the hotel for the rest of the night apart from heading to Tescos for a wonder. On the Thursday we went to visit my uncle Davids house and his family. We didnt stay for long as we wanted to travel to central london and start the exploring. I think it wasthe first time ive been on the london underground unless i have been when i was little and don't remember. We walked along Oxford street and the parliment area. We even went to buckingham palace and appaently te queen was in! Great day, i noticed alot of things down London that you wouldnt find in sunderland. On the Friday it waswedding rehersal day for my auntie's wedding. This was held in cambridge at the Ickworth House. It was quite a boring day but intesting afterwards when we explored Cambridge with my mam, dad, sisters, grandma, the rest of my cousins, uncles and aunties. Saturday was agood day. Got up to have breakfast and went to visit the galeria again to buy some things. along there we bumped into my cousin steve. He just returned from singapore to attend the wedding. Eeee, laughing at his tan. Looking like a fillipino instead of chinese! Then we returned to his house (uncle Davids). The rest of the family were already there. Second time ive been to their house after already attended earlier this week. There me, my sister and nicola asked to lend (cousin) Ben's laptop. This was revenge to change his facebookafter he changed my when he came to my house. So funny, still thinking back in kinks. Anyways he found out like about an hour later at a restaurant when his friend called but was unable to change it as he had no access to his laptop until another 2 days. The Pre wedding day meal was lush. Very Traditional chinese dinner at Wing Yip. Mmm. After the dinner we headed to cambridge and checked into a dfferent hotel. This one was lush with 4* called the Priory Hotel. Stayed there for 2 nights (before and after wedding). The next day (Sunday) breakfast got delivered to our room which means beakfast in bed!Don't think ive ever had breakfast in bed but it was nice. This was aranged because we the hair stylist was booked early which meant we didnt have time to have a normal breakfast at their restaurant. I loved the way they did all the bridesmaids hair for the wedding. i felt sorry for my auntie (the bride) as she had an allergic reaction on her skin due to the eye patches used to doher fake eyelashes. This meant that she had red skin patches underneath her eyes. thank god her make up artist covered things up properly otherwise she would have felt sad all day. I was the lead bridesmaid so before leaving the hotel i had to help carry the trail of the bride's dress to the vintage car which i also sat in aswell. I had nerves when we got to the venue as i was due to walk down the aisle with the rest of the others .Whilst walking down the aisle everyone stood up with the cameras. Felt embarassed. After photos after photos it was dinner. Dinner was a 3 course meal of duck, leg of pork and trio of deserts costing about £100 per head. Expensive. After dinner there was a traditional chinese tea ceremony and the bride changed into a chinese wedding dress. Well then the day ended quickly and we went back to the hotel for a nights rest. Sunday was when we went back to the bride and grooms house for a visit and another traditional chinese dinner at a restaurant before returning back to sunderland.Halfway through travelling, we stopped at a service station where i saw Jordan Henderson. He was sitting literally a metre away from me. OMG. I regret not asking for a photo but anyways it was a bit of a buzz.
Well thats my October, sorry it may have seemed boring to read. x
